The Historic Old Town Merchants Association, also known as "HOT'MA", was formed in the spring of 2007.
Our goal is to increase business for the downtown area through cooperative advertising opportunities.
There are no fees to join. The only requirement is that the business is in the downtown area, defined
as being east of US Hwy 64 in Manteo, and between Fernando St and Ananias Dare St.
We are willing to collaborate with any agency or group interested in developing downtown Manteo as a great
place to visit. We are also interested in promoting the entire Roanoke Island as a destination.

We describe our association as a buffet - participants are not required to participate in every promotion.
We encourage members to pick what fits in their budget, and what they think will benefit their business. By working
together, we maximize the impact of our advertising efforts.
